Louis and Billie Van Dyke, owners of the
Blue Willow Inn
Restaurant in Social Circle, an icon of Southern dining and
hospitality since 1991,
created
the Blue
Willow Village,
it
is
a complex of retail shops and
a museum on property adjacent to the restaurant.
The Blue Willow Village architecture
is
turn of the 20th
century Victorian style and includes
seven
retail
businesses housed in Victorian cottages. The Village will also
include a strip building patterned after early 20th century
downtowns, which will house a museum and 1950’s soda fountain.
The Blue Willow Village includes Joseph Hurt Studio and
Creation and Natural History Museum The museum has
12,000 square feet of museum displays and a gift shop.
Featured will be natural history displays from the age of
dinosaurs depicting the magnificence of Creation. Joseph Hurt
Studio designs and builds robotics animals and their robotic
creations are displayed worldwide. |
